I was born in Australia in the early 1970's and have lived in many places so far in my life in 3 countries (Australia, South Africa, and the USA). I spent the last 6 years of my life living and working in the USA. As of July 2009 I have relocated to Canberra, Australia.

My single biggest interest is travel - as of June 2009 I have been to 27 countries on 5 continents (I have not yet been to South America). Most recently I spent several weeks in South Africa & Zimbabwe.

An outgrowth of my love of travel has been my interest in loyalty marketing, especially Frequent Flyer programs. This interest has now crossed over into my professional life and is what led to the founding of RewardsDB.com.

Apart from travel I am something of a homebody. I enjoy watching TV (my current favourite shows are Battlestar Galactica, Torchwood, and That Mitchell and Webb Look), listening to music (my favourite artists are Robbie Williams, Billy Bragg, and Kylie), spending time online, and reading (my all-time favourite author is Alice Sheldon/James Tiptree Jr).
